From My First User to 122 Users: A Personal KAVYLO Milestone

By Naomi Stiel · 18 October 2026

What started as an independent app project has now reached 122 users. A personal reflection on building KAVYLO, learning through development and celebrating small milestones.

122 users. To some people, that might seem like just a number. To me, it represents a journey that started with a single idea.

When I started developing KAVYLO, I had a clear vision of the kind of fitness app I wanted to create. An application that connects training, nutrition, recovery and progress. A place where people can better understand their fitness data and recognize their long-term development.

What I didn't know at the beginning was how many decisions, challenges and changes would come along the way.

Today, KAVYLO has reached 122 users. And that is a moment I want to acknowledge.

The first real user

Developing an app is one thing. Knowing that another person has actually decided to use it is something entirely different.

During development, so much attention goes into technical problems, new features, improvements and everything that still needs to be done.

You tend to notice what is missing rather than what you have already achieved.

That is why the first real user meant something special to me.

It was the moment KAVYLO became more than an idea I was working on. It became an application someone else had chosen to use.

What 122 users mean to me

Today, that number has grown to 122.

I understand that this may seem small compared to established fitness platforms. But I still think it is important to recognize milestones like this.

I develop KAVYLO independently. Every new feature, design decision and technical improvement involves work that most people never see.

And I am continuously learning.

Some ideas work immediately. Others need to be reconsidered. Sometimes, the best improvement is simply making something easier to understand.

For me, reaching 122 users means that something I started as a personal development project is now being explored and used by other people.

KAVYLO is still evolving

As an application becomes more comprehensive, keeping it clear and easy to use becomes increasingly important.

That is one of my priorities moving forward.

I want KAVYLO to connect different areas of fitness and health in a meaningful way, without making the experience unnecessarily complicated.

I plan to keep improving existing features, simplifying navigation and focusing on functionality that provides practical value.

That also means being willing to question previous decisions and change things that could work better.

A personal thank you

122 users are a meaningful milestone for me. But they are not the final destination.

I am grateful that people are giving an independently developed application a chance.

Thank you to everyone who has tried KAVYLO, continues to use it or shares their experiences with me.

I look forward to seeing where KAVYLO goes next.
